Level 7 Gymnasts Shine at Border Challenge
What an incredible weekend for Y Geelong Gymnastics!
We are thrilled to congratulate our outstanding Level 7 Border Challenge representatives, Edwina and Augustine, who proudly represented Team Victoria for the very first time.
Edwina delivered an exceptional performance, earning the title of Beam Champion, helping Team Victoria secure 3rd Overall, and finishing an impressive 5th All Around individually. These are fantastic achievements and a testament to her hard work, dedication, and determination.
Augustine also performed brilliantly throughout the competition, showcasing confidence, resilience, and composure across all of her routines. She finished 11th on Beam and represented Victoria with pride, demonstrating the rewards of her commitment and perseverance.
Representing your state is a remarkable achievement, and both gymnasts wore the Victorian colours with pride, determination, and outstanding sportsmanship. We have no doubt this is just the beginning of many exciting opportunities ahead.
A special congratulations also goes to Coach Elly, whose unwavering dedication, guidance, and support helped prepare the girls for this incredible experience. Her passion for developing young athletes continues to inspire success both in and out of the gym.
