Enrolling for the First Time

If this is the first time you're enrolling in one of our programs, please read our guides on how to enrol.

HOW TO GUIDES

Remember, when you enrol you'll need to:

  • Choose the service you wish to enrol into;
  • Provide billing information for a direct debit;
  • Provide contact information;
  • Provide your child's Centrelink Customer
  • Reference Number (CRN), as well as the CRN for the person claiming Child Care Subsidy;
  • Upload a copy of your child's immunisation history statement;
  • Upload a copy of your child's birth certificate;
  • Upload a copy of your child's medical management plan if they have one.
What to Bring

WHAT TO BRING – Y JUNIORS

  • Healthy Morning Tea, Lunch, Afternoon Tea
  • Sun Hat
  • Drink Bottle
  • Change of Clothes for water play activities - Please see the program flyer to see which days involve water play.
  • Appropriate footwear
  • It is recommended that younger children bring a change of clothes
  • PLEASE LABEL ALL OF YOUR CHILDS BELONGINGS

WHAT NOT TO BRING – Y JUNIORS

  • Mobile phones and electronic devices
  • It is recommended not to bring toys from home. The Y is not responsible for any toys children bring from home.

WHAT TO BRING – Y YOUTH

  • Healthy Morning Tea, Lunch, Afternoon Tea
  • Sun Hat
  • Drink Bottle
  • Change of Clothes for water based activities – Please see the program flyer to see which days involve water play.
  • Appropriate footwear
  • Children may bring spending money. This is NOT compulsory or required. Children must bring a packed lunch as buying lunch will not be an option.

WHAT NOT TO BRING – Y YOUTH

  • Y Youth participants can bring a mobile phone, but are asked to keep it in their bag while participating in activities.
Fees & Payments

Fees:

  • Centre Based Day: $76.50per child daily fee
  • Incursion Day: $107.50 per child daily fee
  • Excursion Day: $135.00 per child daily fee

NDIS

  • Educator Support: Child support ratio 1:1 $50.10 per hour+daily fee

The Geelong & District YMCA Vacation Care service is a Commonwealth approved childcare provider. Please see the program brochures for more information on daily activities and costs.

CONFIRMATION AND PAYMENT OF FEES

  • All fees will be direct debited prior to attending the service.
  • Payments may take up to 48 hours to withdraw from your selected account.

NDIS
All families wishing to continue using their NDIS plans for their accounts must update the new 2023/2024 Service Agreement and return them toThis email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. prior to receiving a confirmed booking in the Vacation Care program.

Additional Age Information

Children aged 12 have the option to explore both 'Y Junior' and 'Y Youth' programs on available days. Please contact our SHP Coordinator Katelyn for more information.

All children must be 5 years of age to attend our services.
