Competitve Gymnastics Programs

WAG/MAG Competitive Programs are invitational programs aimed at nurturing and developing athletes aspiring to compete at a state and or national level.

This pathway requires a higher level of commitment from the athletes and families (i.e. training hours between 2-28+ hour/week, mandatory competitions and learning complex skills/routines).

WAG/MAG follows a national skill curriculum, parallel program and is an overall higher level of gymnastics.

The Y believes in the power of the inspired young people and this is only possible with a strong partnership between gymnast, parent, coach and management and the support and well-being team.

Gymnasts will thrive with proven ingredients of mutual trust, open communication. Our Club is committed to providing an inclusive, safe and fun environment where athletes  reach for their goals which is delivered through our athlete centred approach to all decision making to ensure athlete wellbeing is our highest priority.

We have a number of policies and procedures, codes of conduct and a well-being framework that supports our athletes and coaches.
